James has 15 years of Real Estate experience across a variety of roles and asset classes. He began his career with Nat West group as part of their Graduate programme in 2008 and since then has had exposure to bilateral and syndicated loans as well as regulated lending. Prior to joining Topland, James worked at Credit-Suisse as part of their Wealth Management Team. He is a member of the Associated Property Lender, a Chartered Banker and is CFA qualified.
Anish is a senior member of the structured finance team, having joined the Topland Group in 2021 from Pluto. Anish has involvement across the full deal cycle, from origination to redemption. Having been involved in real estate transactions of over £600M, Anish has established strong relationships with developers, intermediaries, and professionals across the real estate industry.
Topland structured finance incorporates funding across the capital stack, from preferential equity through to senior charge lending with typical structured finance deal values between £5m-£100m. Our structured finance team provides funding secured against real estate asset classes including prime residential, hotels, commercial, and industrial in the UK.
The structured finance team has several decades of experience having deployed more than £1.5bn across structured finance deals in various real estate sectors. The structured finance team has significant experience dealing with real estate funding scenarios delivering bespoke solutions to the best in-class investors, property developers and operators based across the world, becoming a trusted structured finance partner of choice.
The team ensures structured finance execution certainty with extensive cash resources and applies a real estate-driven approach leveraging Topland’s industry expertise. The structured finance team typically provides structured finance facilities for up to 24 months. The structured finance team will support transactions across their life cycle, from acquisition to development through to stabilisation.
