Virgin Media and Charlie Browns join expanding retailer line up at Saddlers Centre Walsall.

New operators and relocations to the centre include bakery Oliver Adams, Bodycare, Virgin Media, fashion retailer Charlie Browns and the British Heart Foundation. These new lettings come not long after recent retailer openings including Costa Coffee, Ryman ,Street UK and Blue Inc and lease extensions with Poundland, Clarks shoes, Vodafone, Warren James, Subway, Phones 4 U and Clare’s Accessories.

Topland has now undertaken 44 leasing transactions at the Saddlers Centre since acquisition in February 2012, and plans are under way to develop a new foodcourt and MSU’s.

The company’s director of retail property, Steve Pope, said: “Throughout the traditionally quiet summer months we have concluded eight deals alone. We are pleased that we have been able to relocate key retailers such as Bodycare and Oliver Adams and to attract strong multiples in Virgin Media and BHF. The on site team continues to provide a secure and enjoyable shopping environment and further good quality lettings and relocations will be completed shortly further enhancing the centre.”
