Strategic Land

Topland invests in strategic land using both direct and indirect investment strategies. Our existing land portfolio comprising loans, joint venture equity and direct investments.

We invest in both brownfield and Greenfield land across the UK, with the aim to add value and ultimately deliver consented development land to the market. We also invest in the infrastructure required to progress development.

To date our strategic land investments have been predominantly UK-focused, including freeholds, leaseholds, operational assets, and promotion agreements.

Loan facility secured against land without planning permission, which included multiple advances over a 38-month term. During the term of the loan planning permission was granted for 1,400 homes, 100-bed hotel and a new football stadium with ancillary uses.
